This blog focuses on the lead-up to — and aftermath of — the 2016 presidential election cycle.

Granted, there’s no shortage of coverage an analysis out there at present. But while one could argue that the market is saturated, there also exists the case that the saturation of media indicates a high demand.

Here, we have two candidates with the lowest favorability ratings in recent history — one, the first woman to head a major party’s ticket whose opaque defense of her e-mail practices leaves one scratching his head, while the other appears to not be able to go more than 24 hours before his staff-issued tranquilizer wears off and he again manages to make outlandish and offensive claims.

So pour a stiff one (brown liquor, neat, with another for a chaser). This is going to get ugly.
